The workflow
- Record questions. Choose audio or video prompts. Faceless Hosting supports audio questions with text-based question clips.
- Share the private link. A guest opens the link in a supported browser on a phone or computer and responds without a MicRelay login.
- Review the answers. Preview and arrange recordings, download individual files, and ask follow-up questions.
- Combine if useful. Stitch can combine the conversation into a video. Detailed finishing can be done in your preferred editor.
Guests need a supported browser, camera and microphone access, and a suitable place to record. Handle permission for the intended use separately.

The steps above also explain the workflow in text.
What you can do
| Feature | How it works |
|---|---|
| Conversation Mode | A recorded interview experience that does not require a live call. |
| Follow-up questions | The host can ask another question after an answer arrives. |
| Podcast Mode | A back-and-forth exchange of recorded turns. |
| Faceless Hosting | Audio host questions with text-based question clips. |
| Stitch | Combines recorded clips into a complete video. |
A preparation checklist
- Define one audience question the interview would address.
- Choose a small set of prompts that do not assume the answers.
- State the intended use and handle publication permission separately.
- Keep confidential information out of the prompt.
- Plan time to review answers before deciding whether a follow-up is needed.
- Identify which source recordings would need to be retained outside the plan’s storage period.
One question, then one clarification
A host could ask a contributor to describe a decision. If the reply named an unfamiliar process, the host could send a follow-up asking what that process involved. The host would then review the original answer and clarification together before choosing their order.
The sequence would be prompt → answer → review → follow-up → reply → final selection. The time between steps would depend on the people involved.
Choose a planning guide
